Both of these Ninja and Bella air fryers have similar cooking capacities. Bella is a 5.3-quart air fryer. It can cook for up to 4 persons in a single batch. On the other hand, Ninja AF161 Max XL is a 5.5-quart air fryer. It can also cook for a small to medium size family at once
However, if cooking capacity is a decisive factor for you, then Ninja DT251 will be a better choice.
Temperature range
Ninja 5.5-quart air fryer has a wide temperature range – from 105F to 450F. The upper and lower end both are extended for Ninja. Therefore, you can access a variety of cooking functions using this air fryer.
On the other hand, Bella has an ordinary temperature range. It can cook up to 400F. With this range, Bella can do regular air frying only.

Control panel
Both Ninja and Bella have digital control panels with LED displays. However, Ninja Max XL has 7 preset cooking functions of the panel. On the other hand, Bella has only 3 functions. Ninja is more user-friendly and more organized.
Other features
Ninja has the max crisp function that is a unique feature among all other similar air fryers. With this technology, Ninja can air fry at 450F with superheated cyclonic air. It cooks at least 30% faster than other Ninja air fryer models with the help of this technology.
Bella does not have any such mention-worthy technology. It is an ordinary air fryer like most of the other brands in the market.
Price and value for money
Ninja AF161 costs almost twice as much as Bella. Considering the value for money, I think both of the models are equally good.
Which one is the winner?
Ninja AF161 is the winner if we consider only the features. Ninja has a wider temperature range, more cooking functions including dehydration, and some advanced cooking technologies. Although the price is higher I’d still prefer Ninja. If you are OK with only air frying, then Bella will not be a bad option either.

This makes the Ninja air fryer the ideal choice for those who need to cook larger meals and snacks, such as a full dinner for a person or two. Furthermore, the Ninja air fryer’s larger capacity ensures that users can cook more food faster than with the Bella model, saving time as well as energy.
Bella 1.6 QT has a powerful heating element
The Bella air fryer delivers a powerful performance, with a heating element that is more powerful than that of the Ninja air fryer. This is evident in their wattage, with the Bella delivering 1230W and the Ninja delivering 1000W, respectively. This additional wattage provides the Bella with a more efficient heating capability, ensuring that your food is cooked to perfection every time.
Bella has more color variants
The Bella air fryer comes in two stylish color variants: red and navy. Both of these will add a touch of elegance and flair to any kitchen countertop. The Ninja air fryer, on the other hand, is only available in one color: gray. While this is a classic and traditional color, it won’t have the same impact in terms of style and fashion as the Bella air fryer. For those looking for a sleek and stylish addition to their kitchen, the Bella air fryer is the clear choice.
Both has manual control panel
Bella and Ninja both offer a manual control panel to give users the ability to customize the settings of the appliance. The manual control panel on the Bella air fryer allows users to set the temperature, timer, while the Ninja air fryer offers a similar range of cooking temperature and time.
