Cooking capacity
Both Philips and Power air fryers have a cooking capacity of 7 quarts. An air fryer with this capacity can cook for a medium-size family quite comfortably. However, if you want more capacity, then you should choose an air fryer oven. Instant Vortex can be a good option with around a 10-quart cooking capacity.
Temperature range
Power XL has an ordinary temperature range. It can cook at a temperature of up to 400F. This temperature is good enough for regular air frying. On the other hand, Philips XXL has a wider temperature range. It can cook between 104F to 392F. Philips has more cooking functions than Power XL due to its temperature flexibility.
Control panel
Power XL has a digital control panel with touchpads. It has a total of 7 cooking presets that are important for persons who do not know how to manually set the time and temperature. On the other hand, Philips has both a manual knob and a digital display. It has 5 cooking presets. To me, Philips has a more clean control panel.

Price and value for money
The price of Philips XXL is way higher than Power XL because of a few of its exclusive features. The price of Power XL seems average to me compared to other similar air fryers. The value for money of Power XL is better.
Special features
Any air fryer will consume less oil than the ordinary deep frying method. However, Philips XXL premium air fryer produces food with further less fat by capturing excess fat from the food. They call it ‘fat removal technology’.
Power XL has rapid air technology to cook food evenly. Superheated hot air is circulated throughout the food to make the food crispy with the use of little or no oil. Although I think this technology is used in almost all the air fryers in a different or same name.
Power XL Maxx or Philips XXL – Which one is the winner?
Considering the features of both the air fryers Philips XXL wins. It has a wider temperature range, more cooking functions, more powerful heating elements, and better technology. On the other hand, Power XL is also a good choice if the budget is limited. It has all the necessary features for regular air frying for a small to medium-sized family.
